Road to NetZero
We believe that the adoption of zero emission vehicles is imminent. The timelines is are uncertain however, changes in policy will accelerate the process. Our vision is be able to provide a zero emission service today, and a fully decarbonised fleet by 2027.

Ground breaking trial of zero emissions vehicle in Brisbane, Queensland
CHL, Holcim Australia, and Janus Electric have the successfully completed Phase 1 of their zero-emissions electric truck project in QLD, marking an Australian first for the construction sector. This milestone represents a significant step to the transition to a more sustainable transport industry.

Partnership with Women in Trucking Australia (WITA)
CHL is thrilled to partner with Women in Trucking Australia (WITA) to drive gender equality in the transport industry.We firmly believe that embracing diversity is essential for propelling the industry forward, and this partnership with WITA will enable us to turn our zero-emission vision into a reality.
CHL and WITA will work together to drive gender equality in CHL's zero emissions for heavy haulage project. The vision of this project is to have 10 battery electric vehicles in commercial operations in Queensland by 2024. This project will leverage leading Australian made zero emissions technology.
WiTA CEO Lyndal Denny says Women in Trucking Australia are delighted to be involved in this ground-breaking project, given both organisation’s focus on promoting and embracing gender diversity across the road transport sector. “In line with WiTA’s long-term objectives, CHL is also targeting gender balance in their plans to ensure equal representation of women in the project.” Denny said
Over the next 12 months, CHL and WITA will collaborate closely, exploring and capitalizing on opportunities for gender equality within the industry. By championing diversity, we aim to cultivate a more prosperous transport sector. We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with an organization as dedicated and forward-thinking as WITA.
